Hello learner, welcome to Sanskrit gurukul . This is the second part of the chapter Ayurveda nirupana, Padarth Vigyana . In this chapter, we will learn about the remaining topics from the previous post ; such as "what is siddhanta?", what are types of siddhanta. After that, we will look into "an introduction to the basic principles of Ayurveda, and their significance. Hello learner, welcome to Sanskrit Gurukul . This is the first chapter of Padarth Vigyan's notes, Ayurveda Nirupana. In this chapter, we will learn all about the Lakshana of Ayu, the composition of Ayu, and the Lakshana of Ayurveda. Later in the second part of the post, we will learn about types of Siddhanta, and an introduction to the basic principles of Ayurveda and their significance. Oil massage/Abhyanga is the Ayurvedic art of massaging the body by use of medicinal oils. In Abhyanga, warm oil is applied all over the body, from the head to the sole. After ' Ritucharya Adhyaya ', Acharya Vagbhata expounded the chapter 'Roganutpadaniya' (Prevention of Diseases), thus said Atreya and other great sages. Preamble: In the present chapter Vagbhata stressed that all the diseases will be manifested due to the forceful expulsion and voluntary suppression of the natural urges only. Hence for the prevention of the diseases one should not suppress the natural urges like urine, feces, semen etc. and suppress the urges relating to rashness and evil deeds physically, mentally and orally.
